S3 server

Below we outline two types of S3 servers that you can use with your CANedge2:

1. Cloud - upload files to a cloud server for scalability, processing power and ease-of-use
2. Self-hosted - upload files to a self-hosted server (e.g. on a local network or port forwarded)

Note

If you need to upload data via the internet we recommend that you start with an AWS S3 cloud. It is simple to setup and practically free at small scale.[1]
