Thermocouple

The thermocouple temperature signals can be output either all in one CAN-bus frame or split across two frames for better resolution.

Temperature 1°C / bit

All temperatures are output in one frame with 1°C resolution (both cold and hot-junction temperatures).

Note

Keeping all temperatures in on frame ensures perfect time synchronization between measurements at the cost of resolution

Temperature full resolution

Top (x2) and bottom (x2) temperatures are output in separate frames in full resolution (both cold and hot-junction). For more information on resolutions see Signals.

• Thermocouple high resolution top (5 Hz, 8 byte)

• Thermocouple high resolution bottom (5 Hz, 8 byte)

The full resolution typically far exceeds the tolerances of temperature probes
