Full frequency (16 kHz) pulse input assumes a perfect sine. If this is not the case, the max frequency may be lower.
Output is pulses per output period (configurable). Frequency in Hz can be calculated post-processing.
Primary/secondary channel pair combined. Primary channel counts pulses with direction signal from secondary channel.
For full frequency, direction signal must be constant or phase-shifted ±90° with 50% duty-cycle.
The input channels share input range in pairs of two.
With CAN-FD more signals can be transferred in single frame.
Counter resets when reaching 255 + 1.
